Aster is a BSC-based perpetual DEX that lets you trade leveraged positions (up to 1001x in Simple Mode) without owning the underlying asset. AsterTrade Now
How trading works on Aster:
Connect a wallet — Aster is a DEX, so you bring your own wallet (MetaMask, etc.) on the BNB Smart Chain network. No account or KYC needed.
Deposit collateral — send a supported asset (typically BNB, USDT, or another BSC token) into the protocol as margin for your position.
Pick a market — choose the asset you want to trade and whether you're going long (price up) or short (price down).
Set leverage — Simple Mode offers up to 1001x, but higher leverage amplifies both gains and losses and raises liquidation risk. Pro Mode gives orderbook-style tools for more advanced setups.
Open the position — your margin × leverage is your position size. Your profit/loss tracks the price move; if it moves against you far enough, your position gets liquidated.
Close when ready — take profit or cut losses by closing the position and reclaiming remaining margin.
Because Aster is non-custodial, you're responsible for your own wallet security and for monitoring your positions — unlike a CEX there's no support desk to rescue a liquidated or misplaced trade.
Worth noting: perp DEXs carry real liquidation risk — at very high leverage a small adverse move wipes the position. Trade only with what you can afford to lose.
