Which cryptocurrencies have the highest trading volume today?

I don't have a market-wide ranking sorted purely by 24h trading volume, but I can pull live volume figures for the usual suspects to show you what's trading heaviest right now.

I got Bitcoin and Ethereum's live figures. Let me pull the other heavy hitters.

I have live data for the top two — and those are the two that always dominate spot volume. Here's where things stand right now:

A note on context: Volume rankings day to day are led almost always by the mega-caps — BTC and ETH alone make up a huge chunk of all spot trading. Right behind them you'd typically find Tether (USDT), Solana (SOL), BNB, and XRP — USDT often shows the biggest raw dollar figure of all because it's the world's most-traded stablecoin pair across every exchange.

Two things worth flagging about "highest volume":

• Volume ≠ interest or performance. A coin can have giant volume on a flat or falling day, or small volume on a big up day. Raw volume mostly tracks size and how many trading pairs exist, not momentum.
• The metric I have is spot volume across exchanges (CoinGecko aggregate). If you want derivatives volume, that's a separate, usually much larger number — futures/perps dwarf spot on most days.
